Remove stock battery icon [Carbon ROM]

I'm using Carbon and I found out that Carbon removed the ability to hide the battery icon on the notification bar. This is a problem for me because I want to use GravityBox's battery icons. Right now I have two of them. How can I hide the Carbon one?

Rooting Nexus 4 4.4.2 without wiping data?

If you're going from pure stock to unlocking the bootloader and rooting, I don't believe there is a reliable way to save everything. You MIGHT be able to do some workaround to back things up but I'm not positive.

    Unfortunately [everything] has stopped.

Android 4.4 seemed to fix this, either wait for the update on your Note III or root and install a 4.4 ROM.

Navigation bar keeps reappearing on Carbon

Update: This was caused by Gravitybox. I fixed it by going into the Gravitybox settings and setting the navigation bar height to 0.

Navigation bar keeps reappearing on Carbon

I'm running the Carbon ROM and I have the navigation bar disabled because I'm using GravityBox's PIE Controls. The problem is, every time I reboot the navigation bar is back. Anyone know how to remove the navigation bar and KEEP it gone?

CM11 - Very fast battery drain.

I wiped the phone, clean install, got Greenify and Franco Kernel, and it's still terrible. Android OS, Google Services, and Android System are top battery consumers. Sent from my Nexus 4 using AC Forums mobile app

Was solved using this: xda-developers - View Single Post - [UNOFFICIAL] CM-compatible franco/faux kernels Thanks though!

    Nexus 4: Boot virus

I thought the message was just a joke at first, but when it booted like that I figured it was kind of safe to say it was not working properly and of course I would think it was a virus (as that's what it said.) No worries now I guess, but I was kind of wanting that kernel. Oh well. :-\

    Nexus 4: Boot virus

Well basically the app itself isn't a virus, but when you go to install the latest Franco Kernel via the app it downloads a .zip file. I went into Clockworkmod, flashed it, and boom. It said "Thanks for installing the virus. Allyourbasearebelongtous." Then this happened. I doubt it's the app...

    Nexus 4: Boot virus

Whoops, that was pretty fast. Looks like all I had to do was flash Cyanogenmod again. At least this thread is here for anyone who has this problem.

    Nexus 4: Boot virus

I got a virus while flashing the "Franco Kernel" from this app. It said something along the lines of "No turning back now, enjoy your new virus!" Now when I start my phone up it loads the "Google" screen then goes to a blue screen with purple lines running over it and no way to boot into...

CM11 - Very fast battery drain.

Okay, it seems like the app Greenify helps a bit but doesn't completely solve the problem. Try that and let me know what you think. Sent from my Nexus 4 using AC Forums mobile app

CM11 - Very fast battery drain.

It seems that I get 10% battery gone/hour while my phone is idle. Battery widget reborn says 1% gone every six minutes. Sent from my Nexus 4 using AC Forums mobile app
