Nothing really, was just seeing what was out there. I have no real complaints about this phone.

I know OxygenOS isn't stock Android, but it is more polished than One UI I feel. I do like One UI. But I missed how quick stock Android flew with the right device. I may have taken a peak to see what mods there are for this phone, but I haven't pulled the trigger on anything just try.

BK, what's up old friend? I'm still around lol I've been running S20, S22 and most recently S24 Ultra devices up until the OP15. I kept the S24U because it was such a good device. I have my eyes on the Z Fold 8 but figured I'd give this a try while I waited.

I picked the OP15 up and 3 days ago, coming from an S24 Ultra and I'm loving it. This runs way smoother and faster than my last three Samsung phones. The software experience doesn't really have me missing One UI much either. Really happy with the phone so far but I may look at the next Fold...

Which some would argue is disabling what makes the device what it is. Shouldn't have to reduce anything when you pay what this phone costs to get great battery.

It's been a great phone, battery life is great and I can see myself keeping this longer than two years which is normally longer than I keep them lol.

I say go Ultra then, the S-Pen does come in handy every once in a while and the extra screen real estate is what I prefer for media which is what most use their phone for anyway.

I believe the updates are for 7 years, and I prefer the Ultra. I've never owned a Plus model, but I figure if you're going to choose between two devices from the same brand similar in size, might as well get the one with all the features. Assuming price isn't a concern.

I agree that you shouldn't buy a device just to disable features that make the device what it is. I don't think that's the point of this thread, it's to compare experiences. I for one have heard nothing but good things and the battery life but I'm not seeing spectacular results like a lot of...

Just out of curiosity, did you guys getting great battery life switch the screen resolution from FHD to QHD in the display settings?

I had the same battery concerns when I set S24 Ultra up the other day. I copied everything from my S22 Ultra initially, but decided to start fresh and just restore my texts and let the phone download all the apps. Battery seems much better the last couple days, significantly better than my S22U...

Did you transfer data over from another phone?

I haven't been able to receive messages from a friend who is using Google Messages still.
