You need to pre-condition your battery (few cycles of charge full and discharge almost completely) And if you have all the power hungry modules running (wi-fi, GPS, Blutooth) plus screen set at full brightness - battery will drain very fast.

Replaced the device and now is actually worse. Seems like there is something with the device - old one was able to connect via few access pints - new one is worse as it doesn't connect through any tho it say "connected" and gets an IP address. Has nothing to do with signal strength.
