Best place to buy replacement battery?

Where did you get the DOA one? Edit: Also, how long can the new battery go between charges? How about the battery that you replaced?

I installed it too. The phone still works, which is what I had hoped for.

    Android Maintenance Release - April 19, 2016

I just got a notification from AT&T that the latest Android maintenance release is available for my phone. The Motorola website says that the release, which was published on April 19, 2016, contains security patches through April 1. Anyone receive/install this yet? Any words of caution?

Stick a fork in us folks

Amen! Sadly, I don't see any under-five-inch phones being released any time soon since it's more expensive to cram all of those electronics in a smaller body. Bigger screen = lower cost to produce.

What WiFi does the third generation Moto G support?

Re: What wifi does the new Moto G support? Wireless N supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz, and in theory there is no difference in speed between the two. The practical difference, though, is that in a crowded city apartment building there are about 25 times as many 2.4GHz networks visible, so the...

    AT&T Moto X (XT1058) Lollipop fixes available OTA Sept 30, 2015

Not sure how to help. Sounds like your problems are bigger than this thread. The malfunction upon upgrading could be an indication that the "unlocking" of the phone was a poor hack.

Who's "they?" Did you buy the phone from AT&T or not?

What WiFi does the third generation Moto G support?

Re: What wifi does the new Moto G support? According to the specs on Moto's website, it's 2.4 GHz only. Go to Moto G (2015) - Unlocked Android Smartphone - Motorola and click View Full Specifications. Sad because, if true, this is a dealbreaker for me for the same reason as the OP. There are...

    AT&T Moto X (XT1058) Lollipop fixes available OTA Sept 30, 2015

The update was only 4MB and I cannot tell what changed (other than that there is a new version number under About Phone). I guess that, since I had already installed AT&T's flawed Lollipop update earlier this year, I received only the maintenance update. I never had any sound or Youtube...

    AT&T Moto X (XT1058) Lollipop fixes available OTA Sept 30, 2015

The long-awaited fixes to the problematic (and suspended) Lollipop update are now available OTA. New version is called 222.26.7.ghost_att.ATT.en.US It fixes stagefright, I think. Update the Software for the Motorola Moto X (XT1058)- AT&T Wireless Support...

Fixed problem with AT&T Address Book after Lollipop 5.1 update

One of the issues that AT&T Moto X (2013) users are having after installing the 222.26.1.ghost_att.ATT.en.US att Lollipop update is that their contacts are wiped out on the phone and they get an error message when trying to re-sync the phone to their backed up contacts from their AT&T Address...

Old-school voicemail icon won't disappear when using Visual Voicemail

Prior to this latest version of Visual Voicemail (which coincided with my upgrade to 4.4.4, so hard to tell which is the cause), the voicemail indicator did disappear when I heard the message through VVM. That is the way it should work.

Old-school voicemail icon won't disappear when using Visual Voicemail

The phone: Moto X running Kitkat 4.4.4 on AT&T in New York City. Visual Voicemail version 2.9.3.14 (the latest version as of today, 9/4/2014). The problem: When I get a voicemail, the message comes to Visual Voicemail and the little voicemail tape icon appears at the top. When I listen to...

    Any news about AT&T 4.4.4?

I called AT&T support and they fixed it. The lady said that it was just a matter of checking a box in their system to re-enable Visual Voicemail. Not sure why it became unchecked in the first place, but it took only two minutes to fix.

    Any news about AT&T 4.4.4?

Yes I'm having that exact same issue (twice now) post-4.4.4 update. I'm going to call AT&T support tomorrow; will report back if they have any answers.
