Thanks for the welcome and the link! It's odd that all the updates say that they need WiFi but this one pushed through over the AT&T 4G. As this phone is quite old I am thinking of rooting it soon. Are there any guides you could recommend?

I never have wifi turned on, but the last few days I have had an AT&T Software Update, Version V4_2_1212_3_1 popping up. I did not accept the update and kept postponing it. This morning it updated without my permission anyway over their network. I've searched all over but I can't find any...
