I'm looking but maybe a little impatient. Are you setup in the USA on your phone? I just got mine, went through the steps for USA but now wondering if after reading other posts about Setup : settings>region> change USA to Singapore> then changing HiCare also to Singapore will get faster...

dov1978, Any tips on setting up your Mate 20 for EMUI updates? US region not seeing anything except a March security update at 1st bootup. Thanks for any help!

Been checking for any updates on my Mate 20 Pro and all I've received was a March 2019 security update. Got it after I charged the phone up. Now beginning to wonder if because I didn't register/create a Huawei account setting the phone up for the first time, could be the reason for not getting...

Yup. I use the original charger that came with the phone. As soon as the battery percentage indicator shows 100% I un-plug it. I've also recharged the phone overnight but I always make sure it's OFF/SHUT-DOWN when I do. Of course you don't have to wait til it's at 100%. 80 or 90% is fine. Done...

My original battery never gave me any issues (purchased from Google Nov '15). Decided to keep it after Pixel came out and replaced the original battery in July '17. Still running like new. Light-med user and get consistent 2 days of use. I try not to let it go below 30% before recharge.

Ha..found the answer. In the search bar at the top of the phone I typed 'Jump' and this came up : Jump to camera To quickly open camera, press the power button twice. Works from any screen. System>Gestures> Jump to camera. Hope this helps someone :)

This evening tap settings and at the very top I see a "suggestions" bar. It says enable double tap power button to launch camera. Ok, I'll try it and if I don't like it, I should be able to turn it off. I'm on 8.1.0 Nexus 6P. Checked the net for "turn off double tap power button to launch...

Had my 6P battery replaced by the UbreakIFix shop in Reno, NV in 20 minutes without ANY scratches or broken parts in July '17. It's just like new. Don't know where you are but if you want to stretch it going that way, that shop in Reno is highly recommended for 6P fixes. :)

I had a great experience at a UbreakiFix store. 18 minutes R/R and $80 for a OEM battery. That was back in July 2017 and with Oreo 8.0 update since, it's like a new phone. I'm sure feeling like I'll have another 18 months use out of it. No need to dump $$ for a new phone when I've always had no...
