RAZR MAXX HD: Wifi issue with 4.4.2

I've had WiFi issues since receiving the KitKat update. My WiFi would recognize the network, and say it was saved, but refuses to connect to it. The only cure I could find online that worked for me was removing the SIM, rebooting the phone, and reinstalling the SIM. Sometimes I do this...

DROID RAZR MAXX HD: 4.4.2 KitKat Update

One of our RMHD phones is great. The other refuses to connect to WiFi. Search KitKat and WiFi and you'll get a lot of hits across several phone models. I have to pop the SIM card out and restart the phone, then reinsert the SIM once it comes back up. Ive had to do thiscat least 5 times today...

    Lag post jelly bean update

It's been a while, but I'll update on mine. I quit using SwiftKey and went back to the stock keyboard and while it's still not as smooth and "buttery" as ICS was, it's proved to be a significant improvement. Note that I still have Google+ turned off (doesn't really do me any good in my area) also.

    Lag post jelly bean update

That didn't do it unfortunately. I really just want to return to ICS at this point. I can't believe they would release an update for the phone and then feel that all this lag was acceptable. ICS was SOOOOO smooth 110% of the time, that any lag on a supposedly improved release is not acceptable.

I just disabled Google + so I'll report back on how mine is behaving later on. Thanks for the tip.

    Motorola has the best antennas???

My iphone had troubles staying connected to the wifi in my own house if I was too far from the router. My Razr Maxx HD asks me if it can connect to people's wifi as I'm driving down the road it's so good. :D

    Lag post jelly bean update

I've done it all and my phone still lags. Google Now has been off for at least a week. I did the hardware reset. I can't believe we don't have the option to go back to ICS if we want. The phone was nothing short of EPIC with ICS.

What are your first Jelly Bean impressions?

After updating to JB on both our devices I don't think it's as smooth as ICS was. They still work fine, but things like the circle widgets take an extra 1/2 second to load sometimes depending on what screen I'm moving from, and various other things. It's not bad, it just doesn't feel as smooth...

24 hours later and no complaints on either device. :)

    Battery Percentage in JB

Our circle apps on our Razr Maxx HD's have NOT changed since updating to Jelly Bean this evening. They still show the percentage and the colored circle around it in the far right circle like they always have. I hope that helps. :)

Has Anyone got the JB upgrade?

Maybe it's that our phones are so new, but they've always seemed "buttery" smooth to me and I don't see any real change with that. It honestly seems about the same with the addition of Google Voice and Cards and the minor changes here and there.

Has Anyone got the JB upgrade?

Both of our devices just started downloading it as well. :) Now mine is showing "Download suspended. Will resume shortly." lol
