Big thanks to magnus, he hopped on aim and helped me a bunch. I'm running CyanogenMod-6.1 and loving the simplicity and "smoothness" of it. My only gripes are no group texting and VM notifications. Fixing to install the sprint voicemail pak to see if that fixes one.

Screen is black with green text when I did the Volume Down + Power button instead of the Home + Power

It's the Volume Down + Power Button, I did this and it went right into the recovery mode. I guess I think I skipped over the little pop-up on the htc figuring it just said what I already read on here and on the one-click sticky, but that should prob be updated. I'll let you know what happens...

Two easy questions: Is reboot the same as just shut down and turn back on? And should i just go with cyanogen latest stable rom if i want speedy? What are your favorites?

Never mind, I had to unplug the usb cable then it saw it fine. I still had it plugged in so it was probably still mounted.

srkmagnus: You have skype or aim? I installed astro filemanager but when I drop the file onto my htc from my computer it's not showing up anywhere on the htc. I figured it would just be in the root of the sd card...

Ok so I ran the one click method but when i get to step 3) It's coming to a "CLEARSTORAGE" PROMPT, Delete all user data? Action yes Send no What the heck am i doing wrong?

Thanks user, what do you recommend for the absolute fastest rom out there. I like minimilism. :)

Thanks magnus for the quick reply: I searched and found this thread but unfortunately the links are all outdated. I also found this sprint link but it says I need to install htc sync first, is this correct?
