I don't mind switching phones frequently - however, I'd rather have something and stick with it than change in all honesty. As for rooting/jailbreaking - I HATE the idea that I have to root an android phone to get it to work the way it should work - in terms of battery life, stability, etc...

I downloaded the shooter exe file and had nothing but trouble from it. I've basically given up - I can't download the stock rom to do it the way the OP suggests, and the exe file above does nothing but soft brick the phone for me, so that i have to do a recovery boot.
