I also went to a tmo yesterday and played with one. It's a really nice phone and super smooth. With live wallpapers going (even bubbles) it didn't stutter. My Gnex lags like crazy under the stuff that the GS3 handled with no issues. I do wish I had ordered the white... not really digging...

I'll take that bet. IF the Moto ends up using the S4 SoC and some one has both phones in the same location :) I won't argue that Moto historically has the best radios/reception. Just with everybody (HTC/Moto/Samsung) going to the S4 SoC they are now using the same radios... so reception...

Moto in the past has used radios that they developed. Signs indicate that moving forward everyone using the S4 will be using the same hardware - radios, cpu, BT, and gpu. The only difference will be software. Hate to break it to you guys... but the best software can't fix crap radios - ala...

When I switched from my iphone 3g on AT&T to VZW I started using GV. Its a great app.

Yes Google Voice will work. I had it on my Dinc and currently on my GNex (works on all android phones). Google Voice works great and eliminates the need to pay VZW for something that should be free.

I could have been more clear:) Maxx battery (while not overly large in size) is the largest capacity of LTE phones available. The usability of the Maxx is achieved through packing in a lot of mAh not by power efficiency.
