I was stuck on Processing for a good long while. Then woke up to Shipped today.

I also placed my order on Monday, just a bit earlier (it seems) than you did - 1:30 PM EDT. I received my "it's shipped!" email early this AM with an expected delivery of tomorrow. FWIW.

Nope. Well, I guess you could, but actually owning your own phone, unbeholden to any carrier, makes it possible to go with plans otherwise unavailable. For the past almost two years I've been paying $30/month to T-Mo for more data than I ever need, and more voice minutes than I almost ever...

The issue: I am not seeing any "new email" notifications my (stock) Nexus 4. Emails are being received. I can see them when I open Gmail and look. But the phone has stopped telling me "Hey, pal! You have new email!" No sound, no buzz, no icon in the notification bar, no nothing...

Thanks for this. At least now I know that I do, indeed, need to kick in to Virgin for one more month of service on my old phone.

Second tracking number was from "UPS My Choice", which I signed up for yesterday after reading about it in this thread.

I don't mind a reasonable delay. What I do rather mind is getting jerked around with false information from Google. Email says "It's shipped!" when it hasn't. UPS tracking saying "it will arrive today!", when it won't. A second tracking number sent me with no notification of wth happened...

Hanlon's Razor: "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity." Google is currently quite stupid at selling stuff. We who ordered (or even tried to order) this phone know that quite well. I think that right there adequately explains the odd (lack of) shipping...
