I would’ve bought a 3a if it had wireless charging. If they added it to the 4a then I’m not sure there’d be a reason for the 5 to exist, but of course they won’t.
Hi all.
Does anyone know which apps are working with face unlock on the Pixel 4 in the UK yet? I’ve reached out to a few banks and credit card companies over the last few weeks - no response from any of them!
I’ve had every Pixel (in every size) but switched to the iPhone 11 this year as...
Is putting apps to sleep a Samsung feature or can it be done on all phones running Pie (i.e. the apps that are being "battery optimised" on my Pixel 3 are asleep?)
Thanks for all your updates on the S10e. Tempted to try one and switch to something smaller from my 3XL.
I returned my P3 as the back glass had lifted in one corner. Live chat have informed me the £75 (in the UK) store credit is only valid on the first handset and not a replacement/re-order even if it was faulty. I am currently awaiting a response to my complaint as I consider this very unfair.
I'm with you on that. I think the size of the iPhone XR seems spot on. Having had my annual try of both regular Pixel and the XL version I'll be sticking with the regular one again. It's a lovely size.
I'm a front pocket carrier and I always come up against the portability problem. My rule has always been if I have to take my phone out of my pocket to do up my shoe laces then it's too big. Given that most phones are settling on the 3XL/OP6T/S9+ size I might have to change my rule soon. :)
Will do. I do this every year as I get battery jealousy!
I'm struggling to ignore the OP6T now too. Trouble is I've taken such stunning photos with my Pixels (1, 2 and now 3) that I think I'd miss the camera too much.
By coincidence I've just noticed that the rear glass panel on my phone isn't flush in one corner so it's going back anyway. Good opportunity to assess.
I have a Pixel 3 and love it, absolutely love it, however more battery is always nice!
Anyone gone P3 to P3XL? If so are you pleased you switched or not?
On the flip side, anyone downsized? Thoughts?
I'm with you on this one. The double swipe up to get to the app drawer is an acceptable trade off for me because, more often than not, Google is presenting to me the apps that I normally use based on my habits. It's really, really accurate now.
Pie on my Pixel 3 has been faultless so far. I'm not keen on the gestures compared to what I've seen of OnePlus and the iPhone, but hopefully this will change in time.
