There used to be five options but now three of them are greyed out. I hate the two that are left. Does anyone know any way to get back the ones that are now unavailable - particularly "vertical list?"

Oops, it had to be Google News, not just Google.

Turns out it was a Nova setting in "gestures and inputs." I had to set to home button action to the Google app. Thank you guys so much though. You are an amazing resource.
