    Ticwatch 5 Pro Pedometer off?

I'm older than most trees and definitely not a geek but I think I have a clue. The Ticwatch pro 5 has a GPS sensor. The Ticwatch Pro 3 didn't. When I'm shuffling around my apartment, the Ticwatch Pro 3 tracked my steps and distance walked. The Ticwatch Pro doesn't seem to. Remember when the...

    Ticwatch 5 Pro Reviews

But, I don't know if it's a premium feel or a pedestrian feel. Everything about the Ticwatch 5 says "premium" except the "feel". Maybe I'm too old to understand that.

    Ticwatch 5 Pro Reviews

I was reading reviews before I ordered my Ticwatch 5 Pro. One review gave the watch 4 out of 5 stars and had two criticisms: "REASONS TO AVOID - Virtually no personality - Watch doesn't have a premium feel despite quality components" I think it has the personality of a Hummer motor vehicle...

    Ticwatch 5 Pro Pedometer off?

I had a Ticwatch Pro 3 and a Ticwatch E3. I'm 82 and my fitness routine involves walking my dog twice a day. On both watches the normal walk was around .9 miles. Now I have a Ticwatch 5 Pro and the walk last night and this morning were .5 miles. Is the pedometer adjustable? Is it linked to the...

    Bluetooth Mouse functionswo

I have an Acer Spin 713 that has seen very heavy use for 13-months. Trackpad has been less responsive and I started using a Logitech M557 Bluetooth mouse. The control for a mouse provided by ChromeOS is painfully basic. I can't set the speed of the scrolling or make pushing the wheel down move...

What's your favorite thing about your Android phone?

I can't pick a favorite one thing. I like having my phone, chromebook, and Google Home devices linked. I like having the Android apps to keep my schedule, my shopping and other lists, my contacts, and, of course, Google Maps. I'm mostly deaf and don't use the phone but I do enjoy messaging. But...

Do you prefer a flat screen or a curved screen?

Flat screen. I wouldn't care but I use gestures and for me the flat screen works much better.

There needs to be small Android phone...

Sony Xperia XZ2 has a 5" screen. Palm Phone has a 3.3" screen. Unihertz Atom XL has a 4" screen. Google Pixel 4a has a 5.8" screen. I can get four days on a full charge of my phone but I don't play games, don't watch music videos, don't watch movies, and don't do social media.

How do I list my installed apps in the revised Google Play Store?

I want to thank gf1701. Helpful information.

How often do you restart your phone?

Last thing each night I charge my phone to 80%, which is a setting on the phone, then power off and go to sleep. If power off and then power on is what you mean, then I do it every day. If you mean a reset, I do that perhaps twice a year, more or less.

Not including chargers is potentially dangerous

When I pass my phone on to a relative it has the original box and everything else and the charger usually has never had it's plastic wrap removed. I certainly have to objection to manufacturers including a charger but to say not including a charger is dangerous is ridiculous. I came to phones...

Not including chargers is potentially dangerous

    Finger print scanners

I totally agree. When I used Pixel phones my finger just naturally hit the scanner button on the back. Huawei's under-screen scanner was a pain, I sometimes missed the sweet spot, and I hated the fingerprints and accrued. Now I had a Sony Xperia 5 II and the finger-print scanner on the power...

Not including chargers is potentially dangerous

I can't remember the last included charger I actually used. In part, because I live in Mexico and devices arrive with plugs for China, Yemen, France, and wherever. Right now I have a charger in the bedroom that charges my phone, my Kindle, and my Ticwatch. My Google Home Hub came with an odd...

    Photo transfer...

Can someone give me a process for transferring photos from the p40 pro to Google Photos on a Chromebook? I can connect with a cable but the transfer is painfully slow.
