One time, while solving and issue with my BT on my Nexus 4, I saw a BT blacklist that had the word BWM along with other manufacturers. Maybe that has to do with your issue. Check inside your phone: /system/etc/bluetooth/auto_pair_devlist.conf maybe the BT address of your car is there.
