I installed and used the ATT Wifi app. (I had to uninstall the original app first.) It periodically turns on your wifi to see if there are any free hotspots, or ones you've connected to previously, and automatically connects you if it finds one. It worked fine. It wasn't very useful to me...

The ICS Gmail app has a homescreen widget that shows you your inbox, or whatever label you like. You have to update the app after installing ICS though.

ICS runs great on my Note. It's much smoother and snappier. And it addressed all the annoyances I had before the update (wierd rendering on Netflix, Amazon market, etc.). No complaints.

That's awesome! I've got the 32GB in my Note, though I haven't found much to fill it with yet. (If only Google Play Music would store its offline music on the external-sd card... then I'd fill it up fast! :( )

Rumor has it the next Note will release overseas in October -- but if the first Note was any indication, then it won't hit our shores until Feb 2013. I've been very happy with my Note -- it's the best smartphone I've ever owned. I certainly recommend it. (Edit: Feb 2013, not Feb 2012.)

Has anyone found an equalizer app that works for the stock unrooted AT&T Galaxy Note? Every equalizer and bass booster app I've tried from the Market has no effect on the sound. I used DSP Manager for my CM7 EVO, and it worked great. But since I'm not rooted, DSP Manager won't run on my Note...

It happens to me occasionally too. I figured it was one of the apps I had installed, but if it's happening to both of us, maybe not. I haven't seen a pattern yet.

I tried out the Epson app with my Artisan printer and it works perfectly. Got me out of a jam yesterday when I needed to print a PDF *fast* and didn't have time to drag out the laptop. Many, many thanks!
