Well, then I guess you got your "one update" too. In all likelihood, your Tab S2 would work even better with Nougat than it does with Marshmallow. Too bad Samsung maintains its "one update" policy, even where hardware age and/or configuration is not an issue.

Mine came with Marshmallow, but I got upgraded a year or so ago to Nougat. Since I got my "one upgrade", I guess that I should be happy.

The 8" model is lighter and easier to hold. I have the 9.7" model and sometimes it is just too darn heavy if your arm(s) are unsupported.
