You'd have to install TWRP from something like GOOmanager app. That app has a script that overwrites and replaces CWM. TWRP has a great touch interface too.

I just switched to TWRP. Much better IMO. You can install it from Goomanager.

All I've done is root to my s3 so far. I used to flash my tbolt a bunch and have finally decided to copy my cwm backup to my pc + external drives, but copying this #(#*!( stupid blobs folder has said "22 hours left" for the last 30 minutes... wtf happened to cwm backups?!

Yay! :) I downloaded the ez unlock 1.2 and unlocked the bootloader. I was just worried about installing CWM before unlocking... never had to do that with my other phones (N1, tbolt)

Is there any way to find out if you installed the new OTA in device information? I never received a prompt to update, but am worried that it may have been installed silently when I was sleeping or somethin.

I hope I did not get the OTA installed stealthily. I never received requests to update my phone so I rooted yesterday and it completed flawlessly (then installed titanium, etc).. I froze SDM 1.0. Is there something in the device info that would indicate you got the OTA? Edit: I just rebooted...
