If I have the terms right there is a glass screen which I had to replace and the actual display under the screen which is the expensive part. I needed to save use the display from the old one. in the second picture you can see the display in the middle with the old and new screen beside it.

Mine did it this morning first time I saw it. I have been having signal issues and been on the phone with tech support a lot. Originaly I had a Pre order but they replaced it and I got an "updated" model. I have not attempted to root it yet.
