    Basic phone needed

Not sure whether you were able to get your Extravert going, but Verizon has a $50 flip phone for postpaid. ($50 MSRP). The Cosmos 3 is $90 and the Extravert 2 is $110. All are MSRP on the Verizon site.

if you still have unlimited data plan, do you also pay $30/month for unlimited texts?

I pay $10 for 1000 messages. I use around 300 messages in a month and I'm fine with it. I'd consider GV, but most folks have my cell number and I like the simplicity. I could upgrade to unlimited for an additional $6.20, but my usage doesn't justify it. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk

Verizon raising the price for Unlimited Data Plan by $20 after November 15, 2015

Just did a rough calculation with my discounted voice plan (450 min Nationwide plan, unlimited data, and 1000 texts) plus my non discounted 2GB plan for my tablet, vs the 18GB plan... With all the discounts factored in (almost $14 total) and soon to be $20 data fee, I'd be paying a whopping $1...

will requesting a replacement SIM card by calling customer service endanger my unlimited data plan?

I've had SIMS mailed to me and swapped in-store and I've never had my unlimited data plan touched.

Will my unlimited data line be affected if I use Device Payment Plan to add a line on the account?

Thanks. It gives the option of adding a standalone plan for the additional line. Didn't go through with the step, though. Just not keen on another item on the bill lol Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk

Will my unlimited data line be affected if I use Device Payment Plan to add a line on the account?

Good to know. I briefly tried to to this online, but the site tried to convert my account to the new Verizon plan... I have a UDP and a separate tablet line. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk

If I use the monthly payment plan, do I lose my UDP?

Yep. Say sayonara to the UDP if you opt into the Verizon device payment plan. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk

Now that VZW no longer offers subsidized pricing, why haven't full retail price of phones gone down?

Also, the number of lower priced phones is increasing. There are 2 phones available now that are $120 MSRP; also, there are a few more that are less than $200. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk

    Call Waiting?

It is a network feature; if it's not working on your end, it's time to call Verizon. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk

    Delayed group messaging problem

Re: delayed group messaging That is what drove me away from the Google related apps. I HATE group messages, but I want to receive them in a timely manner. I ended on on Verizon Messages Sent from my SM-N910V

What texting app do you use?

I've been using Verizon Messages for months. I hated the photo size limitations on the stock and Google Apps. Sent from my SM-N910V

Note 3 owners, how's your cell reception and antenna?

I decided to give Samsung a try again... I took the plunge and got a Note 4 a couple of days ago. It is like night and day. I get all my calls on it. My Note 3 would receive only every other call at home. Heck, I get stronger WiFi signal as well. I think this Note 4 is a keeper. Not sure what...

Note 3 owners, how's your cell reception and antenna?

I stumbled upon this thread via a Google search. I have had reception issues with my Note 3. Calls go directly to voicemail. Data signal drops where I've never had them before. I've had a refurb sent to me and still the same problems. I'm on Verizon. I did a device payment plan and the phone is...

    accessory discount issue

I am wondering the same thing. Some items are discounted online for me, but for me, the majority of items aren't discounted. Cases are showing up as discounted along with some chargers. That's all for me. I haven't bought anything in a store in a while.

    Note 3 N900T on Verizon?

Verizon voice calls are placed via the CDMA (1x) network. The T-Mobile (and other GSM only) variants do not have the CDMA required to work on the Verizon network.
