I have an N20U Verizon, unlocked it a couple weeks ago and it now has a Tmobile SIM. My main concern is the OTA updates, will my updates be SIM carrier dependent? or it will stay Verizon regardless of what SIM I have installed?

I had to turn off wifi calling on my Verizon phone. Even with a good strong signal, quality is bad, cuts off to people I talk to. Even with a low signal reception, still way better than wifi calls. Settings> Connections> wifi calling toggle (2nd from top). UI3.0

OP, did you have the S8 since launch day? Or you just had it recently?

I just installed it. I never had any integration so I downloaded/activated Sesame first. Then googled/side loaded it. Worked great. Under integration on Nova, settings can be changed.

I stick to iOS for basic stuff. Text, calls, email, facetime. Everything else, S20. I feel that the face unlock is better on iOS, unlocking accounts, unlocking phone in the dark (without shining bright light when one just woke up).

I am loving my Note 20, not ultra. Traded in my S20. No 120Hz, no expandable memory. Bigger battery, Spen. The only thing I didn't like is no screen protector. I am sending my S20 back for trade in and IT still has the OEM screen protector, that is how good it is. Surprisingly the screen...

This is one thing why I ditched the beta, and hoping it would get updated on the final release. I am gonna hold off on the 10 'til it gets resolved.

That is correct. Verizon sim, Tmo logo on the start up. Maybe the conclusion to this issue is unlocked note10 doesnt have assisted dialing, even after flashing with US carriers.

This is the plan, but im stuck with Tmo branding/logo. Or maybe that Tmo dont have assisted dialing?

I did use Verizon for ap, bl, csc, userdata and sim card,but Tmobile logo still. Have you tried flashing from Tmo to Verizon on your unlocked N10+? What worked for you?

So I finally got around and flashed my unlocked phone to Tmo. Well, no luck! Assisted dialing is not there. Can't seem to flash Vzn after flashing to Tmo. So I settled and accepted that I can't have that feature. Def this note10+ goes to chopping block next year!

Ill research more. Ill update when I find out.

One other thing that kind of confused me is it (assisted dialing) is offered by the carrier (Verizon), I saw it on her S10 (verizon branded), but how do I activate it on my unlocked unbranded Note (verizon sim)? Fron Samsung they say it is there but it needs to be activated by carrier. Hmmm....
