yes, but if the root is achievable, I'd rather save the extra 30. and still have the ability to tether.

So I recently bought the dev edition of the s5 from samsung. Since it'll already be rooted, how will this facilitate unlimited tethering? which tethering method would be the fastest?

My wifi tether used to work also, I've tried just about everything to get it to broad cast. I look at the log which shows that everything is working fine, however the network cannot be found by any of my devices; I dont have hide ssid enabled,. I've even tried switching roms, so know im thinking...
