Oh I know 175 vs 54 isn't going to matter for my normal usage. However it would indicate it wasn't using the 802.11ac bands correctly which could indicate higher battery usage or worse range or connection stability. Hard to know without more investigations into why it was doing that.

A quick update. I went through all the settings on my 6p, tried switching to 2g which claimed 144mbps but tested at 30mbps, went through my router settings and updated the router firmware. None of which helped. Finally I decided to reboot and now I am getting good WiFi throughput. I'm concerned...

I received my new nexus 6p this afternoon and got it all setup with Verizon and going through speed tests. My home wifi connection typically maxes out in the 175mbps range using my older note 3 and other devices capable of connecting at that speed. This 6p claims to be connecting at 866mbps but...
