That is correct except only SMS messages have this brief tone, other notifications from WhatsApp, Facebook, Gmail etc do not. This is on an LG V30+ (LG-H930DS) Australian model.

I don't seem to receive notification sounds during calls unless from regular text messaging and even then it is a different sound and much quieter and this is very frustrating. Does anyone know a fix?
