The Google Play Store has several good apps for external GPS signal "handshaking" that work well. I use Bluetooth GPS Provider most of the time, but check for any of the bluetooth GPS apps that don't require root AND have high ratings. You'll have better odds of compatibility with your device(s).

Download the ROM's .zip file directly to the phone, and install it using recovery mode. You can use a file management app to move the .zip to your SD card's root, making it easier to find the ROM when you use the recovery's "install .zip from SD card" option. XDA-developers and Androidforums...

Wait a moment! Isn't Next Issue compatible with the current iPad--and doesn't its Retina display have a resolution second only to the Nexus 10? I don't get it. Is this their (Next Issue's) way of being snarky toward Android users?
