I have been using a PowerBot for a month now for all my charging with great results. I even went as far as to design a 3D printed cradle to align the phone to the charger. This was my only complaint initially was alignment was sensitive and if you bumped it in the night it would stop charging...

I have not tested the charger with the tall yet. The back portion is the same as the short but it looks like it will prevent the watch from sitting down in the "cup" of the charger. Having said that at least with my charger you can slide the watch up a lot and it will still charge, like 15mm...

Not that I know of. I feel like Shapways used to offer the colors in a chose of polished or raw/matte. But now they only have matte in while or black.

Shapeways should show you an estimated ship time. Everything is printed to orde4 so what color you get will not affect ship time. My last order shipped 6 calendar days after I placed it and I'm in CT so that is one day by UPS ground from Shapeways NYC production center.

I have not liked it for use in the car but i have a mount for my phone right next to the wheel for using Waze. I feel very distracted looking at the watch white driving. But i do really like not fishing my phone out of the pocket a dozen times and hour to see why it's vibrating.
