I have fixed the problem, but in doing so it finally thought it was on, but actually off so the battery saver notifications was there, but not on. I have been able to actually get it off completely but I'm not sure what I did to do so. Moral of the story is that I won't be messing with that again.

I put my lg g7 in the "maximum" battery saver for the first time last night, and it doesn't recognize that it had gone into it. It does the "switching modes" and finishes but it still believes saver is off, and my backgrounds are all black and my transitions/swipe effects are gone. Can anyone help?
