I am already up for a upgrade for verizon. I am paying the S8 monthly and as long as i pay at least 50% of the phone, I can upgrade free of charge. I perfer this route than paying full price for a phone.

Good to fact check this Apple Event. They straight up lied so many times (from claiming to change the way you look at television with a 4K streaming applebox to claiming their Iphone X is innovative and revolutionized the future of smartphone), it's not even funny.

You can either pay your rent or mortgage or buy this heavily overpriced phone. The $999 price tag is for Iphone X 64gb, so just imagine how much the Iphone X Plus 264gb will cost. That's ridiculous for what you're getting. Buy a Note 8 and call it a day. And I bet most fanboys will buy it mainly...

True, but I don't believe they ever said those are their innovative and revolutionary steps towards the future of smartphone....correct me if I am wrong.

Which is why benchmarks do not tell the whole story. Numbers do not always compute to human perception. So for some, they hunt the numbers not realizing that they won't even *experience* the change.

Benchmarks doesn't take into account relative ancedotal usage. Even if an device does better benchmark wise, it may be behind in normal usage compare to another device.

I thought it was intellectually dishonest for them to claim they have introduced cutting edge technology for the future and its innovative when everything has been introduced by Samsung for years now. They're just catching up.
