I only have 8 GB to start with (internal), so the SD card does make a difference, but thanks for answering.
Also, what if I format with Windows, then will it mark off teh bad sectors and will my tablet be able to understand not to use them?
It is possible it has something to due with system resource utilization. (I use a 5 year old device with 4.2.2) For instance, my status bar will sometimes despair and then come back in a few seconds. I have never had it crash and not come back.
Main Question (1): Can android perform sector analysis (detection of bad sectors so that they can be avoided) on an SD card when reformatting it?
