I had the same problem. Here is the fix. 1: Go to Settings 2. App manager 3. Scroll to ALL apps 4. Scroll down to Messages + (Verizon's Message app) 5. Uninstall updates & Diable Once I did this my led and notifications began working just fine in HTC's messaging app. Apparently Verizon can't...
