Or you could send it in to be repaired. We just sent in a 14 month old one with a cracked camera lens. They repaired it under warranty for free and returned it. To my knowledge, all six cores still work. Just go online to LG and you can do the whole claim without speaking to anyone.

Look in the Google Store under Android Auto. There are several music apps you can use with AA in addition to Google Music. I have successfully used MDPlayer.

Look through several of the recent posts. There are several working options to play music from your phone within AA. There may be some feature limitations but they will work.
