I have had this problem. If reboot into safe mode and then reboot again, it will usually go away -- at least for a while. Has been very frustrating. I'm on Tmobile so it is not just a verizon problem.

I reported above I've had the problem in the past with Waze. It happened again this week. Finally figured out it was pinned in recent apps. I didn't even realize you could do that. When looking at the recent apps in the title bar is a pin icon between the multitask and the X. I came back here...

I was having this same problem with a different a couple of weeks ago. I think it was Waze. I don't think rebooting even fixed it. It finally went away after a few daya so I thought maybe an update to the app fixed it. Try rebooting and try going in settings, apps and force closing the app.

Almost exclusively Feedly: probably about 65% of the time using the mobile app and the rest the web site via Chrome. I do have to click through to the website to read articles. Usually on mobile I use the built in browsing functionality of feedly but to comment I have to open in Chrome

No update yet for my Amazon Prime edition. It took a little longer to get Oreo than the other unlocked versions

It shipped with 7. Do you mean it 8? 8 is out for most versions.

Depending on your carrier and if you have updated somewhere between Android 7.0 & 8.0. I have no idea why your fitbit doesn't work with it. What specific problem are you having and which fitbit model and maybe someone can help you.
