I got to the op's menu, and chose lte only. Phone has been working great for 2 days now. It a Samsung 23 ultra, AT&T branded. It seems to have solved my problem.

What is the proper "Preferred Network Type" for AT&T 4G and 5G?

I work construction, so I'm in a machine all day riding to different areas within a mile area. One side of the area I get 4G from one tower. I guess it hasn't been upgraded to 5g yet. In the main area, the phone grabs a tower across the Hudson river, that is 5G. 4 or 5 bars full signal, but the...

What is the proper "Preferred Network Type" for AT&T 4G and 5G?

Yes, LTE is much better in rural areas. Where I work, 5G is ok in the morning, but in the afternoon becomes unusable. If it happens to grab the LTE tower, the phone works fine. Yes it shows full bars for both, but the 5G is horrible. Guess I'll wait for 6G. lol

iPhone 14 Pro Max to S23 Ultra... Anyone been brave enough this soon?

I just made the move. For me, I just hated IOS. It was my first stab at an Iphone, and lasted about 3 months. I ran back to Samsung, and haven't regretted it for a minute.

Does it make sense to get a s20+ today?

I have an S20 plus and still love it. Don't get caught up in all the hype. Upgrades anymore, year after year are very minimal. In some ways, the S21 series is actually a downgrade from an S20 plus.

    Samsung cash, Promotions, Pre-Order gotcha

If you pay off the phone, then yes, you are giving up those monthly credits. Say the phone is $25 a month for 2 years. You decide you want a new phone after year one. Then you pay the remaining balance of the phone, which then does away with your $25 monthly credit for the phone. So this is...

    Glass Screen Protector that works

AM film is very similar to Whitestone, but it has a weighted cylinder you use during install. You put it over the fingerprint sensor, and it keeps the liquid away from that area. I have it on my S20 plus, and it works great. Fingerprint sensor is very acurate.

Is it worth upgrading my S10 plus to S22 plus?

I really don't think you'll notice less pixels, but you will notice the 120 hz refresh rate. It's a game changer.

    Google Messages

LOL, I just switched back to Samsung messaging. I like the look of it better, and it works about the same.

what messaging app do you prefer?

I like that you can use different backgrounds on Samsung messages.

Should I switch to an iPhone?

I'm in the same boat. Family all uses Iphones, and I have the S20 plus. I play around with my wife's XS, and really don't care for it at all. I don't like the lack of customization, hate not having home and back button, and really don't care for the keyboard. Not sure how it works, but a lot of...
