Do you have a screen shot of what you are referring to? Did the phone get wet, was it in an area that was foggy or misting out?

Did you choose a different camera app as your default? If the camera is hanging up or not working then I would suggest getting it looked at by the carrier store or a repair shop. Has it been dropped, submerged or any damage? You can take it to a repair shop as well.
