Same problem here, Galaxy Tab S 8.4 won't recognize the wireless gamepad. I can't find anything online about debugging the issue, so I'm guessing it just works for most people after pairing with the dongle. The dongle looks to be getting sufficient power (the led is on), but I may try a separate...
