The only way to get the screen back is to open the slider, i did a reset already also. The phone is only 5 days old so I will take it back and exchange it. Thanks for all the help everyone.

that is exactly what its not doing, it wont light back up, in fact as soon as you hit the call button the screen goes black.

When my wife makes a call on her epic the screen goes black and wont light up to end the call, the only way to end the call is to open the slider and then the screen comes on. Is there a fix or do I have to take it back??

I was at Kalahari in Ohio last tuesday, sat by the wavepool, and facebooked for like 6 hours on the hotel wi-fi. Of course I also have an extended battery which helps....hope you had fun, I did!

My friend at work just got a thunderbolt on verizon, Im not so jealous of the phone as I am of Verizons working 4g, and sprint non-existent 4g here. He is getting 15 mbps up and down. Will be nice when sprint turns it on. For those wondering this is the detroit area 48228.

got tired of waiting, i flashed back to di 18 then did the update.zip for ec05. so far GPS WORKS!! and no camera, or video lag.

I'm on Eb13 no OTA update yet, however I did receive a text from Sprint yesterday saying an update was imminent, but nothing yet.

I must be the exception, my videos are better now, and record in mp4 format which makes the editing a lot easier for me

The batterycover on mine fits very good the one thing I noticed is the power button is a little harder to find, but to me its just a minor inconvenience. I'm sitting at 40 percent after being unplugged for 27 hours now.

No problems so far, today I've been unplugged 17 hours, and I'm sitting at 50 percent

I have had the battery for a few days now, I think its broken in now. As of right now its been off the charger for 18h 13m, and I have 41 percent left, that is with messaging, internet use, and playing sims 3 for a couple of hours also. Oh and the screen brightness is set a little under...

I have the same wifi problem, I also have an "n" router. I asked the same question a while ago and got no answers. the GPS can be fixed, there is a sticky thread called gps workaround or something. it worked for me
