Just installed Swype beta a couple of days ago after noticing it came preinstalled on AT&T's Galaxy Note. Have had no problems. Biggest draw for me is the built-in editing keyboard accessed by touching the little 1234 square tile in the upper left corner.

Re: S-Note page color. You can change the background color from the menu bar. I looked a long time for a way to change the page color.
