Yeah that compression thing has got me miffed.

Just out of habit I guess. I didn't know their might or might not be a proper way to exit the keyboard. I can understand exiting an app but hitting back to exit a keyboard? Should I do that for every little thing I do? Hit the back button?

I think the notification is their if u have more than one keyboard installed other than the default Samsung keyboard that came with the phone. If u pull down the notification bar you will see that you can choose between other keyboards you installed.

Do u receive it as an mms? If so while looking at the pic, click menu button (lower left) and hit "save attachment"

I'll definitely try that setting and let you know my results... It's an awesome program with all the presets and tweaks you can do and it was one minor issue I had with my encoded results. Thanks for the tip.

Have you tried sending the same mms picture to any other friends where they received the same message? Your GS3 should convert it appropriately as you stated and at least to me, it sounds like an issue with your friends iPhone. Wondering if the iPhone is up to date with their firmware because...

Open up camera & when you're in video mode hit the settings icon in upper left corner and scroll down to recording mode and change to limit for sms.
