Thanks for the input everyone --- i'm not arguing that the N4 CAN'T produce good photos, i'm sure that it can, my issue is with regular autofocus. i don't have time to be fumbling around with exposure settings and everything else when im at a club or out hiking and want to snap a quick photo...

Absolutely not. It's terrible. It doesn't even have self timer... the auto focus is a mess and the photos are often washed out. Everything else on the device is a dream but the camera is... ugh. i think thats why they were able to sell it for so cheap.

so I've been a bit upset because of all the new flagship phones coming out.... particularly because the camera on the N4 is the worst camera since the iPhone 3G... i came from the htc one s anyways I've been contemplating getting the htc one but I want the black model that no one is yet...

Is this something with the N4 in particular or most new phones? all my blackberrys and even HTC One S charged a lot faster when turned off....thanks so much!
