Exactly, I'm glad you were able to get it straight. After my third g4 in 9mo, I finally had enough and got rid of it. I'm all done with lg, never again. I love some of the features but if I'm having to go through the hassle of getting replacements every few months, they're definitely not worth...

It could be any floating app causing it. Hope you figure out which one, its very frustrating.

As I posted before, same issues but no filters like twilight. Well after alot of frustrating tries I was able to figure it out. It ended up being Clean Master. As soon as I uninstalled it the problem was gone. I haven't tried reinstalling it but I did install the lite version with no problems...

Re: screen Overlay Detected Since I did this latest update I can't change permissions, upload pictures among some other things. Its causing me a lot of trouble. I keep getting a popup saying screen overlay detected and to turn it off. It takes you to the settings but no matter what I do nothing...

I'm having the same problem but I don't have any kind of filters. And It does nothing when I turn off all apps in the settings that it takes me to. One suggestion I found for nexus was to turn off all in that section then turn phone off, back on again. But that did nothing. Any help would be...

I have the same issue. LG. It didn't start until this latest system update I received yesterday. I don't have any screen filters. It just puts you in a loop with no solution. Changing the settings where the popup takes you does nothing. Not only can I not upload or open photos but I can't...

Take a look at lg problems on here. They have also been riddled with them. I'm on my 2nd lg g4 in 8mo. I'm on here now with my trusty galaxy s4, waiting for a replacement. I just wanted to let you know my experience with lg. Switching to nexus or Samsung ASAP. Good luck!

I hope that they do a better job with the g5 than they did with the g4.

The first one had the screen freezing issue now this one is in the "bootloop" I wasn't backed up either. I'm going to try the freezer trick and see if I can do a backup. Hopefully I'll be able to. I'm done with Lg. Thanks to everyone and android central for the comments n platform.
