Thank you! This simple step helped me. I had android pay which made me put higher security lock on my phone. Then my bank stopped participating with android pay, so I uninstalled the app...but I was still stuck without being able to go back to swipe unlock.

Yes, tried that too. My brother even got a new phone yesterday, still an android and still cannot get his messages on a group text. Individuals come through fine. It has to be a setting on my phone and i cannot find it or figure it out. Posted via the Android Central App
