Just cleaned the card with alcohol. Can't really get in there to clean the contacts inside but I blew it out with compressed air. Formatted fine inside the tablet, we'll see how long it lasts. Thanks for the fast reply. Posted via the Android Central App

I just picked up the Venue 8 7840 and I love it so far. However it keeps complaining that the SD Card is being removed. It's 32g Sandisk Extreme. Seems to work fine for half a day or so and then complains I ejected it. I've re-inserted and tried rebooting but the problem keeps popping back up...
