I finally see something on my Fedex Delivery Manager that weighs in at 1.4lbs from Brightpoint c/o Time Warner for delivery Wed next week. Submitted 03/08/16 and approved 03/23/16. I guess I'm getting a Gear VR in addition to my Gear S2 Classic sent by Verizon.

It arrived just now via Fedex. No paying up front to be reimbursed at all, Verizon just waived everything. :)

Well, my rep lied with the overnight shipping since they actually really used 2-day shipping. That's okay with me though... I never paid for the item nor the shipping anyway.

My rep was very sweet young lady who after I told her about the promotion that I never got being that I pre-ordered as soon as the page was up offered to send in the item of my choosing to be shipped overnight. I didn't have to say anything else, no resistance, no explanation, straight up...

What I really hope is that Samsung and PrizeLogic get the freaking promotional items to everyone that got approved. It's not Verizon's fault. Or maybe I'm feeling a bit biased with how Verizon chose to handle my particular situation.

I do not see a non-3G version on the Verizon shop. I believe it is a 3G one but the rep did not say anything about a monthly fee nor asked for my consent for extra service charge or changes to my account. Maybe they do have a non 3G version. I guess I'll find out when it arrives on Tuesday.
