If you are using an extSD, then you will need to install SDFix: KitKat Writable MicroSD. KitKat messed with RW permissions for non OEM applications. Hence the issue writing to, or modifying content on the extSD.

Nah straight from modaco, I tried to format and partition with ubuntu tried with the recovery image. I finally just went dual mount route.

I did it like that and I still have had the problem with 3 separate sd cards.. One of which is I can't format anymore.

Anyone know if there is a fix to this yet? Every time I mount my sd via usb when I disconnect it says sd card damaged, or unreadable, or blank. I had a 16 gb card and it completely bricked it....

You can go over to unlockr.com and they got directions although I don't like the apps2sd thing. Breaks your ability to mount your sd card...

you have to tell it flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery-RA-heroc-v1.2.3.img But I wouldn't recommend this rom at this time if you like to use the usb mount feature. Breaks your card.... Btw anyone know a fix for this? My bad was on page 3 and though I was on the last page..... oops lol
