No, it's not hidden. And I can't uninstall gmail but only update it because it was factory installed. The view is alphabetical .. thanks, Michael

Thanks Emad, Thanks to your image I got it sorted out. The way it's been implemented isn't exactly obvious, and since I installed the new firmware my whole layout has been changed. Anyway the image will probably make it clearer as to how far I've got, and the present problem. Michael

Thanks for the reply, but I'm not sure what you mean. I simply what to put an icon on the lock screen that will open my gmail app. I have "swipe" enabled but how will that help me put the icon on the lockscreen? Michael
