I am in Australia and I was using my smart stay with no problems up till a couple of months ago then it stopped working. The eye comes up while I am looking at the screen then it dims and turns off I have to touch the screen for it to stay on. Will check the front camera. My phone is stock SM G900I.

You need the s view cover with the chip for the s view function to work. They changed the S5 so you need a chip the S4 didn't need one. If you download an app from the play store either s view plus or style view cover they will work but it won't be able to show pedometer on the s view display...
