This "Good lock" seems to have fixed the double tap to lock screen using Nova issue. Earlier, if the screen was locked using the "double tap" gesture of Nova launcher, fingerprint unlock would not work. You had to input the pin or the pattern. Now, with good lock, fingerprint unlock works...

Thanks, did the adapt sound setting, improved quite a bit but still falls short of V10 slightly. But I am satisfied with the overall phone so sound quality is a non-issue.

You should be able to remove the sd card from S5 and put it on S7 and good to go .. no need to do anything. As far apps data, your google account will have them and you can chose to install them manually or use smart switch

Say you enable adaptable storage and sometime later your phone acts up and you want to restore it? Now your adaptable storage is not longer an advantage as you lose all stuff on your sd card. That's why I don't like to use adaptable storage.
