How did you pay for the tablet? If you paid by credit card, you can check to see if your credit card company has any protection. I know Amex has an automatic extended warranty, as do some of the other cards.

Interesting. Does it have a 30-pin connector on the other side, or is it a micro-usb connector? Also, could it be one of the LTE models that are sold overseas (the P601 or P605 versions)? On the back, there should be a model number written in tiny font.

The app says you can move around the little "wheel window" - but note that it is a pop-out soft window. The keys don't stay present all the time.

I'm late to the party, but I would say the easiest way to check is to look on the bottom edge of the device to see if the charging port is a micro-usb port or the larger 30-pin port. The 2012 model still had the 30-pin connection. Anyway, did you get the device?
