    Well, returned the G3

Thanks. You just helped me decide to leave this site. The buggy navbar has been a thorn in my side but people like you are what makes me want to stop trying to help. So I am leaving the site before I lose that part of myself. Go to hell.

How do you turn off the double tap to wake function on the LG G3?

Well either the Android (NOT 3RD PARTY) battery monitor is showing an inflated screen on time coupled with the poor battery life. Or there is unbridled paranoia at work here. Knockon has never turned my phone on by accident as far as I can tell, but it *is* possible to bump the power button and...

Five days with the LG G3 and I'm about ready to send this back!

It could be the car stereo reacting poorly? This person keeps talking about aux, but I am unclear whether HEADPHONES had been attempted with the same result...

    Well, returned the G3

UHD is exactly NINE TIMES the pixel count of my Echo's 720p recording mode. And at up to 120fps at 720p on some phones while the Echo sometimes lagged a tad even recording 30fps...and the Echo's recording and playback features were good when it launched. Yeah phones have come a long way. The...

    Well, returned the G3

I saw an S2 destroy three cards in a matter of months. Finally got them to go online and pay over a hundred for a heavy duty chip and 2-1/2 years of intensive use later that fourth one still works great. Never seen anyone record so much video on a phone but that's their business not mine.

    Well, returned the G3

A can of dry air, some microfiber cleaning tips and a tiny bottle of pure alcohol are a good investment. These holes and ports are tiny and they can still get very dirty. I just had to clean out the tiny mic hole on a phone without pushing the debris deeper, it takes a hand made scraper needle...

LG G3: Show off what that camera can do

Yeah Lightroom cleaned it up nicely. Phone cameras are doing well, the strength of a compact now is optical zoom and possibly low light performance.

LG G3 or HTC One (M8)

Does not seem like it. And not all M8s have the issue either. Usually these are launch day problems caused by having many vendors working to build up stock. After sales smooth out and problem phones are dealt with, most models are reliable a few months later. Except Samsung phones experience a...

    LG G3: AT&T

That's really funny, my Flex has no such limitation. Even the foreground app, even SlideAside suspended apps, they all show up in Recent. And the open ones show up in TM proper if currently loaded, whether forground or idling.

Note 3 battery drains really quickly

Bad piece of junk SD card basically. Either get like a Genuine Samsung or a Sandisk PRO if you want fast and reliable. Or what was in there? So I assume that was with less than an hour of screen time.

LG G3 or HTC One (M8)

I am not sure myself, but the most important is just dropping the exposure value to something sane so the sky stops blowing out. The rest, well if you want to use Sunlight color instead of auto white or fiddle with anything else just take a few pics and after a day you'll have a satisfying go-to...

    Well, returned the G3

Yeah it competes very well. G2 free on contract, LONGER battery so removable isn't as important, VERY good 1080p screen with wider contrast than G3, VERY good camera and with more manual controls, and there are some nice themes you can install on it. G3 has a tad better ergonomics and a more...

LG G3 or HTC One (M8)

Yeah for your use it is probably fine. You can still crop 4mpix to 2mpix for sharing without much fuss, and photos use a lot less space. Battery is better and you can use saved profiles on the camera ESPECIALLY make a profile for bright sunlight. I really despise components of stock Google...

    LG G3: Sprint

Things have become messy on that front...HD Voice seems like some odd, hybrid VoIP tech already. I haven't dug around to read up on it but the way it seems tied to Wifi Calling implies that they have similar dependencies within the system. Call it a precursor to true VoLTE because it seems to me...

LG G3: Show off what that camera can do

Now I need to go back to the one out-of-state with cow's tongue and braised pork tostadas, they were so cheap and worlds apart from the stuff served at most places :/
