    Can I disable the slide to unlock screen?

    Remove the Wp launcher or other Windows phone theme app. That is what is stuffing up lockscreen

    Swipe to unlock AND pattern lock, huh?

    It is the APP that makes your phone like a Windows phone that is doing this. Wplauncher or simular. Even if you not using it it is running in the background changing the lock screen and adding slider.
